Sneaker culture is an environment that welcomes all allows its participants to express the creativity to its fullest extent and with a bevy of 2017 Nike Air Max Day releases being unveiled in the last few weeks, excitement for this year’s commemorative day at March 26 has called upon the return of a few classics including the fan favorite atmos Air Max 1 . The atmos Air Max 1 is Japanese sneaker retailer atmos‘ second collaboration with Nike and was the winner of Nike’s “Air Max Vote Back”.
atmos creative director Hirofumi Kojima recently shared his views of the second collaboration. To Kojima, the Air Jordan 3 was the first pair of shoes to use the elephant print and was his personal favorite. Additionally, when they designed the first Air Max 1 back in 2007, they wanted to follow the safari theme and this time, the shoes was inspired by elephant bathing in the water. The atmos Air Max 1 constructed from a careful selection of colors and smooth leather materials which allow the shoes to be elevated and sought after.
The atmos Jordan Max pack is set to be release on March 26 at selected global retailers which followed by the solo launch of the Nike atmos Air Max 1 on March 18 via Nike SNKRS. Click here to see more information.
