Knuckle Bones is a fairly new melodic metalcore band in Jakarta that’s beginning to make a lot noise in the local rock music industry. Just in the beginning of this month, the band drops off their first EP titled “Inception“. Consist of four songs, the EP is a hard-hitting, heavy-metal record for those who is trying to incite mosh pits instead of mid-song sucker punches. The chaotic opening minutes of Inception work wonders as an audible translation of lucid dreams, with an immediate flexing of experimental ingenuity across “The Architects” and “Limbo”; hints of the more avant-garde sections are instantly evident as an ensemble of spiraling keys, electric guitars, and a crashing cymbals.
Recently, Knuckle Bones has also released a new single of their latest EP. Titled “Phantom“, the band has teamed up with Putra Pra Ramadhan from Burgerkill to make the collaborative single – along with an official video clip.
