Plaza Indonesia holds their first Food & Art Festival to enliven our 72th independence month. With their first program ‘Cita Rasa Indonesia’, they showcase specially curated dishes that can only be found this month. We were invited and we recommend these tasty dishes: Bebek Betutu, Marlena, Iga Bakar Taichan, Kerapu Saus Mangut, and Lontong Sayur.

There are three upcoming programs this month besides Cita Rasa Indonesia. Lukamba Nduma Luri is an exhibition of photos, videos and installations of Tenun fabric from Sunda provided by Yayasan Dian Sastrowardoyo starting from August 6th until the end of the month. Fine Art Exhibition ‘MENJADI INDONESIA’ features 45 well-known Indonesian artists like Djoko Pekik, Heridono, Nasirun, and other brilliant artists and it begins from August 16th until August 27th. A pop up market dubbed as ‘Pasar Kreasi Indonesia’ include tenants which include From Tiny Islands, Fortuna Shoes, Kandura Studio, Vrecko, Bekal dari Ibu, Kar Jewellery, Gentlemen’s Supply Co., and Infinite Delight.

Be sure to swing by if you’re around the area and check out the festival. You might catch us there unable to walk from being to full.
