Brightspot Market, the pioneer of creative market in Indonesia, is coming back for the fourteenth times. In the press conference held in The Goods Diner on October 26th, Anton Wirjono as one of the founders of Brightspot Market told us that, seeing how Indonesia is now brimming with similar markets that keep emerging, has made them stick with their culture of delivering something new and different by coming up with a more ingenious idea: Modern Culture Festival.

This “A Curated Market of All Things Cool” idea first came up from the founders: Anton Wirjono, Leo Theosabrata, Cynthia Wirjono, Chris Kerrigan and Eldalia Wirjono. Starting from only a pop up store in Grand Indonesia, they have managed to combine elements of music, art and food & beverages throughout the years. Not only seen as one the most long-awaited events, Brightspot Market has also been encouraging Indonesia’s economic development and creative business and stimulating local independent industry.

Brightspot Market will be held from 2nd – 5th November 5th 2017 in PIK Avenue Ballroom Area with an area of more than 3000m2. They have massed more than 170 tenants; which will be divided into 5 main sections namely Fashion area, F&B area, Music & Collaboration area, and Art Installation area & Kids area. Expect to see and experience various engaging events to spoil your weekend in a festive atmosphere, such as the #InstaMarket by Instagram, Revolution Music Festival performed by DJ Hogi, Agriculture, Bottlesmoker, Onar and Diskoria; and last but not least, workshops by Indoestri Makerspace and Jenius Co. Create.

Supported by Grab, Jenius, Instagram, Nescafe and Prost Beer, we expect this year’s Brightspot to be the grandest one. Find out more info about the upcoming festivities on their Instagram Page.
