The Gentlemen’s Pact is a movement composed of the minds of motorcycle, artwork, and fashion enthusiasts in Indonesia–initiated by Heret Frasthio of Elders Company. The movement manifests the spirit of Indonesian creative industry by associating them with the riding-with-style culture which has caught much attention, including Plaza Indonesia. They were so excited with this idea that they gave The Gentlemen’s Pact an opportunity to take part in one of the grand titles of Indonesia’s fashion world: Plaza Indonesia Men’s Fashion Week 2017 last September, and also a space in Plaza Indonesia for The Gentlemen’s Supply pop up store which the period was extended to be 6 months.
From there, everything has been moving fast for them. As they have successfully gained abundant recognitiions from public, they finally decided to open their new permanent store: The Gentlemen’s Pact: Passion Supply in Lippo Mall Kemang this Thursday. They carry several brands which have similar motorcyle DNA as them such as: Elders Company, Unionwell, Exodos 57, Kaboa, Fourspeed Metalwerks, Tesmak, Txture Bootmaker and many more. Gentlemen’s Pact has also become one of the vessels of local creative industries which carries theme “Dari Roda Dua Untuk Indonesia”, in accordance with Indonesia Government’s theme “Badan Ekonomi Kreatif (BEKRAF)”–Kita Tidak Sama, Kita Kerja Sama.
For the future plan, they will create a series of activities such as city riding on November 19th, supported by many custom motorcycle communities around Jakarta. On top of that, they will also join the world’s largest custom motorcycle event: Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show on December 3rd 2017 in Japan supported by President of Indonesia–Joko Widodo himself, and follow up with a collaboration with Wall of Fades 2017–an annual denim exhibition by Darahkubiru on 7th-10th December.
