The third iteration of Apple Watch has already surfaced in the market. Now with cellular connectivity, you don’t need to be around your iPhone when using the Apple Watch as long as you are covered by cell service. You can also receive calls from your watch and even stream 40 million songs from Apple Music, thanks to the built-in cellular power.
The Apple Watch Series 3 also sees a myriad of enhancements to its health and fitness features as the result of the new Barometric Altimeter. Among them are the improved Workout app with new interface, smart activity coaching, and a tool equipped with Stanford Medical to monitor the rhythm of your heartbeat.
For the hardware, a new dual-core processor provides 70 percent better performance. Meanwhile, the W2 chip will boost the Bluetooth and wireless connectivity as well as power efficiency. On top of that, the all-day battery will last for up to 18 hours. The watch was already released on September 22nd last year and the price starts from $329 USD. Even though the GPS + cellular version is not applicable yet in Indonesia, you can already get the GPS only version on the local e-commerce websites.
