It was the final day of Plaza Indonesia Fashion Week 2018, and as usual, the event churned out the most exciting shows for the conclusive day of the festivity. The grand theme of the day is ‘KAIN‘, where the shows gave more spotlight to the rich Indonesian textiles.
The contemporary fashion label Populo Batik presented its Autumn/Winter 2018 collection entitled “Purity,” deeply inspirited from the Gandaki River in Tibet. It was full of calm and soothing blue tone with contrasting white, creating eye-catching impressions that were rounded up gracefully with appealing designs.
Last but not least, Iwan Tirta Private Collection joined up with KRATON by the Auguste Soesastro. The matching boasted a distinctive yet elegant silhouette, wrapped in exquisite patterns and motives which was chosen by the young couture designer himself. A total of 18 looks was presented that night, delivering a statement that being classy is all about elegance, sophistication, grace and finesse.
