Breaking the long-standing popularity of the Chuck Taylors and the 70s, Converse Indonesia recently makes an effort to boost the One Star series’ stead in the ever-changing sneaker scene with the Rated One Star campaign. Based on our observation as rooted Converse heads, One Star wasn’t necessarily the first series to come in mind when we are planning to buy Converse.
Nonetheless, the collective campaign surely levels up the One Star series to be much more desirable, slowly and steadily catching up with the CTs and 70s. Converse Indonesia partnered up with four Indonesian city-culture icons: singer Teddy Adithya, model and graphic designer Tiara Nabyl, illustrator Philip Ponk, and skater and musician Absar Lebeh.
Implementing each of their distinctive character and combined with the latest tropical-influenced and modified One Star Spring 2018 release, Converse once again substantiates that their shoes aren’t just shoes. It is a lifestyle. Then, quoting from one of their CT models – this is not a shoe, it’s a mania.
In the Spring 2018 collection, Converse utilizes premium materials such as premium nubuck, leather, and suede. In addition, for the comfortability, each shoe is equipped with OrthoLite insole. Go grab ’em at the nearest Converse outlets at your neighbourhood.
