Over the span of eight years, Kandura Keramik has accumulated a large number of extras, odd bits and pieces from their previous jewellery collections. They realized this especially after last october, when during the moving process to their new studio space, they found ourselves with boxes of beads and pendants.
Before making anything new, they decided to experiment in making use of their stash of past elements and make new(ish) designs out of them. Although this time,they tried a more spontaneous process than their previous one.
They sat down with the beads, pendants, strings and tools, and just let their hands and fingers do most of the work. This process turned out to be an interesting one for them, as they found different possibiilties they did not encounter before. They hope you find the results as interesting as they do.
