Ras Muhamad has officially released his latest album “Salam”, internationally through the label Oneness Records based in Germany. The dreadlocks singer is often touted as the Indonesian reggae ambassador also invited several collaborators in his latest album including Kabaka Pyramid and Naptali from Jamaica, Sara Lugo and Uwe Kaa from Germany. And not to forget several names like Conrad Good Vibration, KunoKini, and the infamous Mighty Che.
For his latest album “Salam”, Ras Muhamad still plays reggae music with lyrically domestic issues which became his specialty. Although grown and learned a lot about music while living in the United States, Ras Muhamad never forgot the land of his birth. He definitely put a lot of efforts in lifting the Indonesian reggae music scene to the world.
Along with this newly released album, Ras Muhamad also presented a music video for his latest single “Lion Roar” which was previously released on Oneness’s recent production “African Children Riddim”. The video was directed by Ignatius “Igor Saykoji” Penyami and Tessy Penyami.
