The Vans California division adds yet another clean and unique look to a set of the brand’s classic silhouettes with the “Batik Indigo” Pack. Within the two-shoe collection, the Era CA get a canvas constructed “Batik Indigo” print taken from the traditional Japanese Shibori (which is similar to our kind of Batik). The practice of utilizing different methods of dyeing cloth with a pattern by binding, stitching, folding, twisting, or compressing it. A few of these methods have made it across the Pacific and Atlantic as the technique we know as tie-dye. The shoe also receive premium detailing in the form of patina finished patina metal eyelets, pigskin Vans labels and braided laces, along with a boat shoe style outsole striking a balance within a plethora of consciously applied visual components.
