The second version of Oldblue Co. Hand Overdyed jeans article is available in 15 ounces dry indigo unsanforized selvedge denim from Cone Mills USA. They decided to overdye the fabric to create a darker shade and color. They re-dyed them using traditional natural indigo solvent. The result is fantastic as the color evolved into a really nice, rich, and deep blue tone. To create such color, the fabric needs to be dipped 11 times into the natural indigo solvent. It surely takes a lot of effort and time. As all of this overdyed process is purely done by hand, you can see some uneven coloration part in the fabric.
While the the regular raw Natural Indigo x Natural Indigo Work Pants Type II is suitable for those of you who in need for a softer version than the regular one. The fabric’s real texture is also more visible and stand out in this one-washed version. The Work Pants Type II inherits its fit from Oldblue Co. perfected 8.25″ cut. They perfected the top block area and make the rise longer to make a more comfortable pants for your daily wear. The denim used for this work pants is surely one of the most stunning and interesting fabric that they ever used. It is a 13.5 ounces selvedge denim from India using an old style shuttle loom.
