Just hours ago, menswear brand that inspired by the heart and spirit of nature The Y Label released its latest collection called “Orion Sky”. This late 2014-2015 collection consist of their signature long and short sleeve shirts, with a new twist of Eastern and Western tradition. Originally inspired by geometric shapes of star constellations in the sky, The Y Label‘s new collection is another blend of classic and contemporary patterns. The Mandarin collar appears for the first time in this collection to provide a new variety on how and where to wear The Y Label.
The shirts can easily be worn as traditional Moslem wear, casually with a pair of jeans and t-shirt, or as formal attire with a blazer or suit jacket. The colour scheme ranges from colours of the sky such as blues, purples and blacks, to more earthy tones such as fire yellows, browns, greens, turquoises, and reds. The fabrics used are Jacquard and Plaid which have become signature materials in their previous collections, and this time they incorporated new Songket material from one of our favourite Batik cities, Pekalongan.
