The world’s number one Scotch whisky brand originated from Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland, Johnnie Walker and its official distributor in Indonesia just days ago announced their new campaign for the upcoming year known as “Keep Walking”. Through this campaign, the liquor brand invites their loyal and future customers to continue to succeed and move forward with enthusiasm, passion, and optimism. In Indonesia alone, the label has decided to worked with Indonesian singer and super talented actress Agnez Mo for this campaign.
Diageo Indonesia as the official representative in Indonesia decided to chose Agnez Mo, the female Pop R&B singer, because of her strong character and goals in the music industry. She also famously known as a public figure who is persistent, ambitious, determined, yet have the courage to continue to move forward. Thanks to her hard work and motivation, months ago she successfully received a signed a recording deal with the US label, The Cherry Party, which is owned by Sony Music Entertainment in the land of Hollywood. Her debut international single, “Coke Bottle” was released in early 2014 featuring popular American rappers, Timbaland and T.I.
Through the special press conference that was held last week in Fable, Central Jakarta, John Galvin as the Head Representative of Diageo Indonesia also mentioned that he sees an imaginative, innovative, yet the right opportunity to launch their latest campaign “Keep Walking” in Indonesia. The team has been inspired from the global campaign and has decided to continue the legacy of Johnnie Walker product name nationally. Along with the announcement, they will also present a small tour across Indonesia dubbed as “Johnnie Walker Nights with Agnez Mo”.
