Few weeks ago through social media Instagram, we found an interesting product, in the form of leather sneakers. Despite their late reply, we managed to share it with you the inside of the recent collaboration between Succoth Bali and Ishkzia for “The Godly Project” fully hand-sewn leather sneakers. According to them, the collaboration draw its inspiration from vintage running shoes such as Nike Cortez and Adidas Superstar. The Balinese retailer decided to team up with footwear label because they wanted to response to their customers (especially Ishkzia) which most people recognized as traditional shoemaker, to the sneakers culture that began to develop in these recent years.

Together with Succoth Bali, “The Godly Project” is presented by Ishkzia to be the connection line to help push the boundaries between streetwear and menswear culture. The fully hand-sewn leather sneakers are now available in various size such as 41 EUR to 45 EUR. According to its press release, the leather sneakers features heel counter to keep your shoe on the foot by grabbing the heel (its main function not only for comfort and fit but also for stability), heel tab with achilles tendon protector (the notched heel at the top of the heel counter so that it does not dig into the achilles), padding to add some extra support in collar and tongue area, three lines stitching for better shape and looks, unique stitching lines to avoid leather stress caused by the laces in the eye stay area, and last is moccasin four stripes as the main signature Godly Project.

While running shoes tend to put large focus on comfort, overall these leather sneakers can feature great grip with amazing comfort and stability.
