An American footwear company based in Torrance, California that creates shoes designed for and inspired by skateboarding, Lakai Footwear and its official distributor in Indonesia recently decided to present their entire collection for Spring 2015. The footwear label that was founded by professional skateboarders Mike Carroll and Rick Howard in 1999 has so many things to offer for their first drop, such as The Anchor Series, Manchester, Griffin, Fura, Parker, and Marc Johnson new signature shoes. Lakai is represented worldwide by Mike Carroll, Rick Howard, Marc Johnson, Guy Mariano, Brandon Biebel, Vincent Alvarez, Raven Tershy, Daniel Espinoza, Riley Hawk, Stevie Perez, Sebo Walker, Rob Welsh, Danny Brady, Nick Jensen, JB Gillet, and Jesus Fernandez.
As for the Anchor editions, they were designed in collaboration with Sebo Walker, Jon Sciano, and Daniel Espinoza. Like the Camby color way for Daniel Espinoza features an all white coated canvas upper with a white flare and red laces. The Japan inspired custom insole artwork provides the signature finishing touch. Every pair of the Anchor editions will comes with a free pair of socks. Last but not least that we are going to mention from Lakai Footwear is the Marc Johnson new signature shoes. The shoe is a case study in minimalism and comfort. The slim, understated, lightly padded upper is affixed to their popular Griffin outsole using a two piece foxing tape construction for added support and durability. The first piece creates the textured top line with the second piece adding the toe bumper and smooths sidewall. A split collar construction adds the detail and improves heel lock.
