The official distributor of Japanese motor Kawasaki in Indonesia, PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia recently presented two new models of their motorbike catalogue with Ninja 300 and Ninja ZX10. Without big ceremony and proper introduction, the legal company decided to use the Ninja 300 as part of the big brother of its former model Ninja 250. Although the difference of machine capacity is only around 50 cc, the price between both models is close to IDR 30 million Rupiah, with Nina 300 is being sold for retail price of IDR 84 million Rupiah. A significant difference in price is happened due by the government tax. According to the rules, motorcycles with engine capacity of 250 cc and above automatically exposed by Sales Tax on Luxury Goods of 125%. For your information, the Ninja 300 is equipped with 4-stroke Parallel Twin DOHC engine with 4-valve 296 cc capacity. It has power output that could reached 39 PS.
Aside by having Ninja 300, PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia also presented another big motorbike with Ninja ZX-10R in a special “30th Anniversary” edition. It comes with retail price of IDR 348 million Rupiah and use a 4-cylinder engine with horse power up to 200 HP. The Ninja ZX-10R only available with 100 units per year while the Ninja 300 will be available with a bigger number, which is 300 units per year. Although both motorbikes come with a heavy price tag, the official distributor and legal company Kawasaki Motor Indonesia is positive with the sales because they already have their own marketing targets, as their aim buyers who are willing to have an exclusive appearance.
