In celebration of Air Max Day 2015, the popular temporary store located in Singapore Surrender is releasing a new pack of kicks from Nike such as, the Nike Air Max 1 Patch, Nike Lab Exclusive Lunar Huarache Light, and the Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB. After a number of camouflage classic Air Maxes in 2014, Nike Lab takes on the military inspiration once again with the Air Max 1 Patch. With the same premium canvas upper and synthetic no-sew mud guard, the “Patch” edition of Tinker Hatfield‘s iconic runner comes packaged with 22 patches that pay homage to key people, places, and moments in the Air Max’s history. It all can be applied to the shoe’s Velcro tongue and or heel cap for a personalized look.
Back onto the heritage of Tinker Hatfield, comes the legendary Huarache silhouette, being extended to the Lunar Huarache Light. Updated with a cushy Lunarlon sole unit in place of its usual Air-cushioned sole, yet retaining its original mesh and leather construction as well as its signature translucent thermoplastic eye-stay. Last but not least is the Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB that comes built with a patented one-piece weave upper for ultimate breathability and lightness. The shoe boasts an impressive amount of comfort and possibility when it comes to style. The free-inspired FSB outsole is heavily tooled for traction without losing comfort. This pair is safe to say that it will fit into any wardrobe of today’s youth. You can get them all now exclusively at the Surrender Raffles Hotel.
For over 10 years, Surrender has been the purveyor of contemporary culture in Southeast Asia, and 2014 marks the tenth year of doing so. In keeping to the tradition of bringing the next and best, they continue to push forward in showcasing luxury and artisanal brands alongside highly sought after cult Japanese labels in Singapore. The retail store is also one of few retailers in South East Asia privileged to be carrying Converse First String and Nike Tier Zero – items that come out of the brands’ special products department which are sold only in the best stores around the world. Along with their celebration and a decade in fashion world, the Raffles boutique recently underwent a little revamp and refurbishment to their interior to provide customers a more gallery feel in line with their direction to set up exhibition areas to frame and showcase special pieces.
