Universal Music Indonesia and Kendrick Lamar have officially announced the release date of his highly anticipated upcoming album “To Pimp a Butterfly”. Scheduled for release on March 23rd 2015, the project is currently available for pre-order on iTunes. As you will notice, the title of the album is currently stated as before and the artwork and tracklist are both blank, except for “The Blacker the Berry” which has already been released. While many outlets are reporting the album title to be that we are not so sure. This is because no other album on iTunes has brackets around the name, making us believe it is a placeholder. If it simply said “Untitled” without the brackets, we would be more inclined to believe it to the be the official title. But honestly, even then, we would be skeptical. Combined with the fact that the album artwork and tracklist have been left blank (unless of course the album artwork is all-black), we are pretty sure the project will see its proper release, including album title, artwork and tracklist included on March 23rd. Regardless, head over to iTunes to pre-order the highly anticipated project. For more information please follow Universal Music Indonesia on Twitter.
