After previously announced the extension of their business through campus visit to Universitas Indonesia on early March 2015, the modern ojek applications and premium motorcycle taxi service known as Go-Jek few days ago officially bring their new food home delivery service under the name of Go-Food. This official statement came from them through their official Twitter account and Facebook page. Go-Jek themselves claimed that they are working with more than 15.000 restaurants that scattered around the capital city of Jakarta. For the food lovers out there, this is certainly good news, considering you do not need to look far when you want to enjoy certain foods from restaurants or stores that do not have home delivery service.

Furthermore, the new service by Go-Jek is claimed to be used freely during the month of April 2015. But throughout the day, you can only use this service a maximum of two orders. Additionally, you are still required to pay for the parking fee when a destination dining impose parking charges, in addition to the food that you ordered. To use this service, you do not need to download a new application because the Go-Jek team had integrate these services into their application. The popular startup company is definitely on the right track and the next big thing in the technology industry as by early March, they have expanded to Bali with another mobile application that focuses on the beautiful island. However, this project Go-Food will definitely be competing with other home delivery service such as FoodPanda and Klik-Eat.
