Part of the Vibiz Media Network and all around media that focus on the business side of entrepreneurship in Indonesia known as Business Lounge recently presented a small gathering session called “The Bridge – Connecting Generation Gap between Entrepreneurs”. Housed in Trafique Coffee, Jalan Hang Tuah Raya Kebayoran Baru Jakarta, this event was attended by several contributors and partners of Bussiness Lounge. According to Michael Judah who is the founder of the site, this event is created to bridge the gap and brings together two different generations, those who can be considered a senior in business and entrepreneurs as well as those that can be said as the second generation or the young entrepreneur. Furthermore, they also created an interactive dialogue that discussed about the things that start-up experienced by when they run the business as well as some of the obstacles that they face. Few of the senior also convey a message to the young entrepreneur as to try to learn and understand the view from its predecessor, including their parents. Along with some great tips, “The Bridge” by Business Lounge also invited several great names from the creative industry such as Michael Wong who is the owner of The Archie Store, Ernanda Putra who is the founder of leather goods Dailyreds, Riana Bismarak who is the founder of Bellowcepek.com, Feronica Kristoofer who is the owner of brand Kristoofer, Alexis and Elliot from Crematology, plus some other well known figures.

Elliot Davernas who is coming from Sweden and founder of a coffee shop named Crematology also shared his experience in details such as how in general a person can start a business, especially when he compared on how to borrow money from banks. His opinion later got support from Alfred Pakasi who is the CEO of Vibiz Consulting. Alfred also explained that there are few differences with the government support as for the start up businesses in Indonesia. However it will change and people should not be worry because the Indonesian government is moving into a positive direction. Aside from those, Riana Bismarak from Bellowcepek.com and Ernanda Putra also shared their opinions on how to create a perfect yet realistic company, how to run your business without losing your credibility, how to make a connection with your customers, how important are social medias, and why they decided to quit their daily corporate job.
