A major German multinational company that produces athletic and casual footwear, as well as sportswear, headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany known as PUMA recently teams up with Singapore based sneaker and apparel boutique Limited Edt to produce an exclusive sneakers dubbed as “Blaze of Glory”. This running-form sneakers is inspired by the fiftieth anniversary of Singapore and how they reinterpret the old tradition of Wayang Kulit or shadow puppetry, while a dying artform here it was very much part of their unique culture of past generations where kids of any ethnic group could watch this traditional Malay artform. This tells the legendary story of how Singapore got its name “Singapura” or Lion City. This story is also emblazoned on the insole of the shoe. As for the shoes itself, PUMA “Blaze of Glory” by Limited Edt will be available in Boxset version, special made to Singaporean, from August 21st at certain Limited Edt stores such as in Queensway, 313 Somerset, Jurong East Mall, Marina Bay Sands, and of course through their official site with retail price set for SGD $259 or around IDR 2.605.000. They will also have a small quantity of normal box version on sale online with a lower price that cost you SGD $240 or around IDR 2.415.000. For those of you who are willing to grab a pair, PUMA “Blaze of Glory” by Limited Edt is available now with unisex sizing from UK 4 to 12. Please take a note as Limited Edt in Jurong East Mall will only have size UK 7.5 to 10.5. Also remember, this sneakers will be individually numbered, 215 pairs, with special box set version will be exclusively available in Singapore and comes with a collector box, Limited Edt Wax Seal Fridge magnet, the official Chapter One by Limited Edt t-shirt.
