Few weeks ago during the Plaza Indonesia Fashion Week along with the VIP preview event, the local ready-to-wear fashion brand created by acclaimed Indonesian designer Biyan Wanaatmadja delivered a fashion show for their latest collection dubbed as “Fleeting Kaze”. Part of the late early fall and winter 2015 collection is fully inspired by the Japanese tradition and offers another sleek, clean, and contemporary pieces. Furthermore through this collection, they went back to basics, emerging with fresh variations on the classic looks and dabble in cool and bright pastel colors most apt for their tropical weather. This collection is also about exploring the collision between dreams and reality. The collision is like the most beautiful flowers lined along a reflective man-made structure, the strong lines of cars reflected on the window panes while the beautiful curves of butterflies rest on the flowers – the delicate softness defying the harsh concrete lines. Aside from it, you could also see the use of belt named obi that known as the traditional belt of Japanese, specific printed details, unique pleats, and woven that makes this collection a contemporary look. As usual, they want to push their limits to achieve the impossible through creativity and hard work.
