The name TROÜ might sound unfamiliar to all of you but the people who are in it are not entirely new to the music scene in Indonesia, in particular to music scene in city of Bandung. They are previously known as the members of independent band called A.F.F.E.N which appeared in 2012, namely Hariz Lasa who is in charge of vocals and guitar, Elmo Rinaldi who is their guitarist, M. Ifsan as bassist, and Hari Prakoso who is in charge of drums. Just days ago, the band shared their latest single called “Beautiful Life – Let The Whole Earth Sing” in order to celebrate the Independence Day of Indonesia. This new single comes with an English lyrics and will be the sequel from their previous release “Berhenti” which was released in April 2015. This song is also a continuation for their musical journey who would like to be part of this creative industry. Furthermore, the Bandung-based band would love their second single to be widely accepted by the Indonesian customers. While the song itself, “Beautiful Life (Let The Whole Earth Sing)” by TROÜ tells the story of a beautiful life, which is governed by the laughter and smiles.
Preceded by the bass rhythm that seemed cheerful and was greeted by a dancing drum beats, as if signaling the impression that the song does have a goal to construct a cheerful ambience. This song, according to the author, is a sequel of the phrase in their previous song of “Emily” which was written and released through A.F.F.E.N. It tells the story of a world where it could turns beautiful if everyone would donate a smile and a serenade. Assisted by Harry “Koi” Pangabdian from The Triangle on drums, the arrangement of this song done within approximately two weeks. Then they took this music into Aru Studio and also Infinite Labs that belongs to Kuassa DSP and Audio Software owned by one of the Homogenic members, Grahadea Kusuf for the recording session. Along with Adhit Android an Audio Engineer who is no stranger in the city, they completed this song.
