After the success of scaring more than four millions of local viewers, ‘Pengabdi Setan‘ is set to air in 42 countries. The horror movie directed by Joko Anwar will soon premiere in Spain, Thailand as well as Taiwan after previously aired in countries such as the Netherlands, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam. Note that it also graced as the highest selling Indonesian film in Malaysia.

‘Pengabdi Setan’ is a remake of the 1980 movie, which depicts the story of a family that experienced strange occurrences following the mother’s death. Starring Tara Basro, Ayu Laksmi and Bront Palare, the film got 13 nominations for 2017 Citra Awards and acknowledged as the most grossing Indonesian horror movie of all time.
