For the second day of the prestigious Plaza Indonesia Fashion Week 2018, Jakarta-based eccentric ready-to-wear fashion label Danjyo Hiyoji hooked up with the local textile factory Lucky Trend for their Spring/Summer 2018 collection entitled ‘Splendor Force‘. The joint effort was deeply inspired by millennials and the young urban movement, presented with a playful and vibrant assortment of clothing.
Dominated by muted colors such as grey and teal, the collection was also enriched by prints created intensively by Lucky Trend. For the final run, all the models were set to converge in the center of the runway. All of the sudden, the lights were turned off, revealing that the fabric glows in the dark, adding the element of surprise in the show. It was a nifty finishing touch and for us, it’s the highlight of day two. Stick around for more recaps yet to come.
