
One of Indonesia’s leading cellular operator company Telkomsel just got their website hacked and defaced this Friday morning. Indonesia netizens attempt to log on to its official website where they met black homepage emblazoned with a tempestuous message from the anonymous hacker. The message contains five sentences profanity, expressing the hacker’s disappointment over Telkomsel’s expensive internet fee and grumbled about the operator’s music quota and film streaming services. Although there is no official investigation into the hack has been announced, Telkomsel Corporate Communication Vice President, Adita Irawati has made an apology regarding to this incident and decided to take the website down for a maintenance. “We apologize for any inconvenience of in accessing Telkomsel’s official website”, said Adita.

Moreover, some of Indonesia netizens were unsurprisingly happy about the hack. They agreed that Telkomsel’s offerings are quite pricey and might not be a better telecommunication’s wide coverage and rapid connection among the other company.
