Other than revamped their website and launched their newly webstore, Elhaus have been preparing some new stuff for spring and summer 2013 with Elhaus E. You might heard or seen this new concept somewhere before, either from their instagram account or various forums. But here’s the complete and full explanation from its co-founder, Raven Navaro.

Elhaus E is our appreciation to arts and craftsmanship in product manufacturing. We develop every single aspect of a product from this line on a very short leash. Every product is uniquely appealing, aesthetically and functionally. We make utilize of different techniques for different garments. Old printing techniques, hand woven fabrics and such.

Our goal is to make use of the various traditional skills available in Indonesia. Not just to use their skills that was passed down from generation to generation. Also to improve their communities by supporting them. Preserving cultural integrity. Improving the environment. And to bring forward Indonesia’s beauty to the world. Most important we just want share our creative ideas.

Working with the descendants of our roots to resurrect skills and techniques long lost to the modern world. This is the dedication we present to our customers. We think elhaus will develop even further with all this. We try as much as we can to produce everything locally. To up the level on the local community’s life and reducing carbon footprint at the same time.
