Online media based Sounds From The Corner on just few days ago brings you a jazz, blues, tango, slash punk band named Tika & The Dissidents. This session marked the band first ever online appearance with material from their new and upcoming album “MERAH”. As they mentioned on the site, the new album is arguably identical, but with ballsy arrangement, lineal lyrics, and robust message. With just six songs records, the album itself is hypothetically more concise compared with Dissidents’ previous releases. All of the songs recorded in live sessions, making it more tangible and borderless.
Along with those introduction, Sounds From The Corner also had the opportunity to record some of the new songs from the album such as “Tubuhku Otoritasku”, “Lies My Teacher Told Me”, “Unlearn the Fight”, “Tiptoe”, and “Hawaiian Chicken”.
