To commemorate the 1st anniversary of MOU between Korea and Indonesia on the creative industries, Blitzmegaplex and The Embassy of The Republic of Korea are proud to present Korea Indonesia Film Festival. This film festival will be held in five locations, such as Blitzmegaplex Pacific Place, Bekasi Cyber Park, Teras Kota, Miko Mall Bandung, and Kepri Mall in Batam whilst the opening ceremony will be held at Grand Indonesia, Central Jakarta.

This is the 6th year of Korea Indonesia Film Festival and the 1st year for Indonesia movies to take part in the festival. Through well-known Korean Box Office movies, they would like to introduce Korean traditional and contemporary culture to Indonesia citizens. On the other hand, they are willing to introduce further more about Indonesia film industries to Korean Society through Indonesian films. Over the years, this event is becoming an attractive film festival waited long by not only Korean residents in Indonesia but also Indonesian citizens.

For this year alone, Korea Indonesia Film Festival will brings you a special guest named Lee Kwang-soo. A young actor whose popularity growing after he joined the SBS’s Good Sunday variety show Running Man. Along with it, you will able to see several box office movies from both countries, such as Confession, Miss Granny, Mr. Go, No Tears for The Dead, Pororo: The Racing Adventure, Roaring Currents, Secretly Greatly, Snowpiercer, The Spy, The Target, A Werewolf Boy, 5CM, 9 Summers 10 Autumn, Habibie & Ainun, and Sang Penari. Decorated with colorful events, Korea Indonesia Film Festival can further improve communication and friendship among Korean and Indonesian citizens and it would become a forum for festival that all of us can enjoy together.
