Just few days ago, the curated department store based in Jakarta known as The Goods Dept introduces two Korean labels that are available for Project K at Lotte Shopping Avenue. For those who missed the news, Project K is a new pop-up concept store dedicated to showcase few independent South Korean women’s wear brands and a cafe that is handled by the team of The Goods Cafe.
The first label is Dim. E Cres. In the musical term crescendo e dimininuendo, cres means getting gradually louder and dim means getting gradually softer. Thus, the designer, Hong Bum King applied this theory into his fashion identity and philosophy. The designer comes up with new silhouettes by experimenting with different fabric overlapping the body. The shape is cut into fragments to add rhythm, and the colors give vitality to the final outcome.
While Rocket x Lunch is a Korean based contemporary casual brand with a range of simple designs, but always with a touch of fun. It is a label that is absolutely trendy and on point with K-Fashion and K-Culture. The pop-up shop itself will exist for 6 months.
