Being one of the local high street brands, ONEANDAHALF has been triggered to come with a breakthrough. Distinctive details that represent a strong girl character speak loudly through the new collection. For its eleventh chapter, the Jakarta based label presents “Rebel at Its Finest”. A collection that inspired by the creative director Febriarnita Christy’s background. She felt that the brand need to be strengthened by the signature style of hers and determine its position amongst others in the market. Last but not least, off-duty models have inspired the brand in exploring its signature style.

I am a sweet girl with such a strong personality. I have been treating this business my way, and I have been dressing all my girls in my way, the boyish style. So it is kind of a celebration of our philosophy. Febriarnita Christy

For its eleventh chapter “Rebel at Its Finest”, ONEANDAHALF decided to put more loose and flattering oversized silhouettes of white, crème, denim hues, and black with several fabrics, such as cotton jersey, synthetic leather, polyester, cotton drill, and denim. The brand also managed to give a tomboyish look by adding few details and embellishments, such as the batches, slashes, and pleats. ONEANDAHALF is one of the growing local brands founded in 2009. Since its dismerge with Nikicio in October 2009, the brand has gone stronger and more creative than ever. As the Creative Director, Febriarnita Christy, says, “It’s best for us to separate because each of us has philosophies of our own terms and both brands have been growing really well. So why not let the market have more choices? Personally, Nina Nikicio and I remain good friends.” Going solo means being more professional for the brand. Jersey cotton is the trademark of our brand. You don’t need to sacrifice too much money to look good and feel good about yourself. Last but not least, that is the message the brand has always been delivering.
