With a rich past flowing through its green streets, the Santa neighbourhood in general and Santa’s three-storey market in specific is now considered as one of the main torchbearers of Jakarta’s chic future. Last week, the digital media that covers street culture in Indonesia, Footurama decided to open a new brach at Santa’s iconic market known as Footurama Surplus. The store snugly falls in line with their unwavering goal of grasping the past and sensing the future. As with Footurama’s flagship store at Panglima Polim, Footurama Surplus in Pasar Santa stocks handpicked pre-owned goods such as footwear, various items of clothing, bags, and accessories for the ladies and the gentlemen. You can still expect to see vintage items, as well as products from brands such as Supreme, WTAPS, Nike, Adidas, and Neighborhood. However, the Footurama Surplus store will feature its own unique curation, with a wider option of vintage products and a lower price range. Footurama Surplus in Pasar Santa opens from Thursday to Sunday at 1 in the afternoon to 10 at night.
