Last year on June 21st 2014, a mass of 11.000 plus glowing runners came to run and dance to the cool and unique event created by Ismaya Live and MesaRace called ELECTRO RUN™. The first sportainment experience organized by those companies offered a five-kilometer race at night and celebrated with artistic lights and musical entertainment in four different Electro Zones along the racetrack. This event is also sponsored by many of the parties involved in one of which is the leading Asian bank, BCA. Along with those, thousands of people who participated in the evening are equipped with unique attribute of custom glow in the dark uniforms, LED bracelets, necklaces, sunglasses, headbands, and other knick knacks. The participants of ELECTRO RUN™ also came from various backgrounds and ages, not only Indonesian citizens but also foreigners participate in this event.
Just days ago, the official organizers for ELECTRO RUN™ finally announced its comeback and they revealed that the 2015 event will be filled with music performance from The Chainsmokers. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the name, they are an American, New York City based, disc jockey and record producer duo consisting of members Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall. The duo rose to fame with their 2014 hit “Selfie”. The EDM duo DJ recently released a single called “Kanye” featuring sirenXX and “Let You Go” featuring Great Good Fine Ok.
