Street Gourmet Bandung Culinary

The left wing defender of highly praised football club in Indonesia known as Tony Sucipto continues to spread its wings in the culinary world. Together with former striker of Maung Bandung, Airlangga Sucipto and five other colleagues, he opened a mobile restaurant business named Street Gourmet. The unique concept is being offered, this time, inside of a huge bus where guests could the green scenery of Bandung and enjoy four options set menu consisting of two European dishes, one Indonesian food, and one Japanese food complete from appetizer to dessert. According to Tito who is the business partner of Tony and Roggo, he explained that, “The concept for Street Gourmet is to combined transportation and culinary. Because previously in Bandung, there were buses called Bandros that could take you anywhere around the city. In order to have a new, different kind of experience, we decided to create this thing whereas you can eat inside of a bus, have a good meal, from beginning to end.” Furthermore, he explained that the duration for each trip could last for one and a half to two hours, depending on the traffic that occur in Bandung. Whereas in a day, there will be four session performed by the bus, starting from 9 in the morning, noon, 3 in the afternoon, and 6 on the evening. In fact the Street Gourmet will performed its fifth trip for the day around 8 at night if they received lots of requests.

As for the main track for trip, it has been determined and will passed some main roads in Bandung such as Jalan Citarum, Gedung Sate, Simpang Dago to the left and went down through Dago area, BIP intersection, the intersection of Bank Indonesia, Braga, Suniaraja, Sudirman, Pasirkaliki, Pajajaran, Wastukencana, Cipaganti, Setiabudi, Cihampelas, Wastukencana, Riau, and back to Citarum, itu yang regular. This kind of service can also serve for a special gathering event, however by request only. Tito later added that he had his own target for the upcoming months such as owning three more buses for the service. It is simply in his wishes because the city’s traffic which is worst during peak hours or weekend. Aside having future goals, he also ensures the comfort for its customers as when they are enjoying the food on the bus. He already had strict rules for the driver, “For the drivers, we have standard operating procedure which is to drive on maximum speed of 30 kilometer per hour.
