It is called Monokrom Café and Bar designed by Singapore based Indonesian architect, Benny Hasyim. The restaurant is not entirely new because they opened last year on November 2014. The coffee and bar shop is located in the heart of Legian, Kuta and next to the Neo Hotel, so you will get there within five minutes of walking. As the place itself, it is very nice because the interior design offers a combination of industrial-vintage concept yet tropical atmosphere, in sync with the ambience of the island and more commonly found in the Seminyak or Petitenget Areas. The walls are decorated with posters from 1970s plus they also used a sewing machine table as dining table. Other than that, the Monokrom Café and Bar also provides some board games for visitors, such as chess boards, othello, and table soccer or foosball. If you would love to have quiet moment, you should definitely visit this place before the lunch hours or afternoon.
