While some of you might seek for a fancy, comfortable, high-class place to stay, TAUZIA Group offers you something else. Just recently, they launched the new POP! Hotel Timoho at Yogyakarta.

Given the chance to enjoy a trip with POP! Hotels team, we were taken to several different destinations at Yogyakarta that was aimed to introduce us to the neighborhood as POP! It was a fine day and POP! Hotel guided us along to our first stop, The Vredeburg Museum. We got to enjoy a historical place that was built back in 1765 before we moved on to Vihara Buddha Prabha. The place was built back in 1846 by the local Chinese living in Yogyakarta as a gift for the wife of Sultan Hamengku Buwono II, and was seen as one of the well-known historical build in Yogyakarta.

Afterward, we were taken to St. Joseph Bintaran Catholic Church – the second oldest church built at Yogyakarta that’s known for its European architecture. St. Joseph Bintaran Catholic Church is the work of an architect, JH Jen Van Oi, the church is often used for meetings of state officials meeting such as President Soekarno with Mgr. Soegiyapronoto. In the struggle for independence in 1947-1948, it was used as a refuge by the surrounding residents.

The day ended with a fine and comfortable hours of resting at POP! Hotel Timoho. The sun, though, greeted us early in the morning and guided us to have breakfast at PITSTOP, a convenient store located at the lobby area with a well-designed interior and comfortable furniture. This was a start to the Green Opening of POP! Hotel Timoho.
