Back on their 8th year, Wall of Fades 2016 offered more refined concept than its previous year for denim enthusiasts. With the informative and aesthetically designed Wall of Denim Evolution Collection, it is still the untypical denim bazaar and exhibition. The educational values that are instated matched with the current theme ‘Jeans As Daily Wear”, as they presented series of exhibitions; Denim Dictionary, Jeans Anatomy, Fading Education, Jeans Styling 101, and Worn Out Jeans Exhibition which was the part of the WOF’s Indonesian Denim Contest.

Held in Kuningan City on 2-4 December 2016, the fun continued with the presence of mindfully picked, well-curated fashion tenants, particularly denim. Kaiga, Bluesville, PMP, Elhaus, Aye Denim were all participating, with addition of prodigious accessories brands such as Sagara, Life Behind Bars, Voyej, and many more. To wind up all the festivities, lines of musicians were performing to entertain visitors, Indobeatbox, Ben Sihombing, Axlcoustic and other talented performers. Once again, INDIGO and Darahkubiru managed to pull out an anti-mainstream denim fashion market this year, even though it is still highly debatable, whether WOF is the largest denim exhibition in Southeast Asia. Nevertheless, they did a significant progress and improvement on this year, so we’ll see you next year on Wall of Fades 2017!
