The rising trend of unconventionally designed shared office spaces has prompted the increment of these kind of office spaces, not only in Jakarta, but also other nearby cities such as Tangerang. One of the examples is The Parabolic Plywood Office, which took a more unique-contemporary approach with the use of plywood to enhance the natural texture and ambience of the zone.

Under the oversight of RAW Architecture firm, the property is owned by Puncak Keemasan Group and completed its construction in 2016 with Realrich Sjarief as the architect in charge. Forming a structural parabolic shape with numerous tree-shaped bookshelves-pillars as its design language, the cost-saving design creates an atmosphere of openness and inventiveness.

In addition, the giant curvature bookshelf in the middle of the space acts as a partition, which accentuates the atmosphere even more. Also, the grid plywood covered celling with the presence of edison lamps hanging, conceives a tranquil and dusky ambient lighting. Most of the plywood structures are functioned as bookshelves and the usage of artificial grass carpets in every corner is meant to set up a jungle-like environment to match the wooden scenery of the office space.

All the pictures were taken by photographer Eric Dinardi and let the pictures speak for themselves. Also, don’t hesitate to cast your rating about this peculiar office architecture on the box down below.
