Coinciding with the release of Sejauh’s new collection, designer Chitra Subyakto is showcasing a various batik fabric that composed of new motifs called “Batik Semanggi” that seemingly inspired by Jakarta’s famous Semanggi Bridge. Traditional batik canting methods are applied to the cloth and also dyed in vibrant color palettes of green, red, yellow, and navy blue. These fabrics are then translated into a form of scarves, clothes, and pillow cases.
