After re-releasing the Apologia earlier this year, alternative rock-band Sajama Cut returns with a new visual interpretation for the their track called “Mari Bunuh Diri“. The Jakarta-based band previewed the track earlier this summer, causing an uproar as one of Indonesian’s most prominent artists. The brand has steadily grown in popularity since they first formed back in 1999. Directed by Andri Ruay, the video was a homemade piece using their home and roadway as the background setting. Unlike the other tracks, “Mari Bunuh Diri” features a bit playful and catchy instrumentals along with a poignant and vulnerable lyrics. “This song for me is a semi-humorous song that satirizes people who still have a closed-minded thoughts about mental illness” said Marcel Thee (Vocalist).
