Last Sunday, on July 16th, Billabong Bloodlines Series – Bali 2017 kicked off its first part out of three. Despite the fact that the day started overcast, the sun greeted the enthusiastic grommets just before the activities started. First up on the competition front was the Push-in Division, with spectacular performances from age 10 and under, followed soon by age 14 and under. They all demonstrated excellent surf techniques; portrayal of true talents.
Came next after the final rounds of the 14 & Under Division was the 16 & Under Division, both boys and girls. They might have gotten the last heat of the day, but their performances were in no way less entertaining. After going through a difficult judging process, winners were finally selected from each group category, seen on the following list:
