Recently published Indonesian thriller Pai Kau is set to be internationally screened at the thirteenth edition of Osaka Asian Film Festival 2018 scheduled on March 9th until 18th in Japan. Included in the ‘New Action! Southeast Asia’ category, the movie which initially released on February 8th will be pitted against eight other films from the region with various genres, spanning from action to art house. Directed by Sidi Saleh, Pai Kau follows the botched wedding of Lucy and Edy Wijaya caused by the presence of an uninvited woman named Siska. Highlighting the rich Chinese cultural background, it also stars heaps of Chinese-Indonesians celebrities which converse in Mandarin from time to time.
