The upcoming Avengers: Infinity War will premiere globally a bit sooner than expected. Marvel Studios recently publicised that the worldwide release date of the pinnacle of Marvel Cinematic Universe has been moved to April 27th, a week in advance of the previous May 4th. The pleasant news was announced on Twitter following a conversation between Marvel and Robert Downey Jr., one of the stars of the movie.

Avengers: Infinity War takes place four years after the events of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and the aftermath of America: Civil War. The dark lord Thanos arrives on Earth to collect the Infinity Stones so he can bend reality to his will. It’s up to the joint effort between the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy to stop him before he puts an end to the universe. Watch the trailer above and be stoked for the release.
