Nike Air Max 1 debuted on March 26th, 1987 and revolutionized the way sneakers are designed as well as the technology that comes along with it. To commemorate the occurrence, Nike decided to mark the date as the annual Air Max Day, starting from the year 2014. For Air Max Day 2018, the sneaker retailer Our Daily Dose elevates the excitement even further by holding a raffle for two of Nike’s holy grails: the Air Max 97/1 Sean Wotherspoon and Air Max 1 Atmos Animal Pack 2.0.
The event was held at Our Daily Dose outlet in Senayan City, Jakarta and it was packed with sneakers enthusiast all over the city. We also met some of Jakarta’s well-known neighbours and familiar faces, such as Laze, Tamish Aswani of Ageless Galaxy, Martin Natadipraja, Ayla Dimitri, Chicco Jerikho as well as Rayi Putra, who make use of the occasion to drop his debut solo album titled ‘The Introduction’.
The raffle went well and both cherished sneakers are sold in no time. The excitement doesn’t stop there, as Our Daily Dose held a new raffle, now with the Heritage ‘86 Quickstrike cap as the main prize.
