As an effort to elevate their classic pieces on the existing ‘Maritim’ collection, VOYEJ partners up with three art creators; Gerson Gilrandy and Melfri Gazza of Roots & Co. creative studio and Carlo Nelwan and Eugenia Ervi of Mediocrux. Each person picked a distinctive theme to adorn the ‘NUSA Short Wallet’ with their artworks. Gerson’s creation ‘Beauty in Pain’ derives from the enigmatic persona of the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean, then Melfri’s ‘Elok Iboe Pertiwi’ is his homage for Indonesia’s rich maritime sources.
Last but not least is the Mediocrux duo who incorporate their signature surrealist styles over the vegetable tanned wallet. The limited collection will only be produced in 30 pieces with each possesses individual design. Nine wallets will be presented by the creators and sold through VOYEJ’s webstore on September 25th, meanwhile additional three wallets called ‘The Masterpiece’ will be auctioned online at their Instagram page on September 28th – 30th.
