Exhibiting an emphasis on intricate design detail, the creative team of BNV carefully chose quality leather to highlight the elegance of each detail which adds both comfort and durability to the silhouettes. Using a soft nappa full grain leather including white, black, navy, and tan color, the sneakers feature goat leather lining, flat rubber sole, waxed laces, and contrast color back tab. In the early 2005, David Hallim worked as the product and development for shoes manufacture in Indonesia that made a variety of footwear for several high end brand. And because of the good opportunity in working at the company, it helped him to realize his passion in handcrafting, which finally led his interest to the traditional methods of shoe-making. BNV Footwear was established in 2011 by trio friends passionate about shoes, and has its headquarters in their hometown, Jakarta, Indonesia. At the end of that same year, the first BNV collection was born, consisting of one unique wavy silhouette later known as the BNV Summit. The brand represents a new idea of lifestyle, contemporary and refined. The BNV collection reflects their philosophy is based on a desire to creating a unique shoe that would bridge the gap between streetwear and luxury fashion.
