Wednesday, 17 August 2016 marked the 71st Indonesia’s Independence Day. As Indonesian celebrates it in a diverse way, Google has their own way to celebrate it together. Google presents a special edition doodle on their main page as an appreciation and participation. There are 3 Paskibra (Pasukan Pengibar Bendera Pusaka) in white uniform and carrying a folded Indonesian flag.
As we click on the doodle, Google will direct us into a searching page with the keywords “Indonesia Independence Day 2016”. Google has always brought great illustration on Indonesia’s Independence Day such as proclamation monument, sack race, and Indonesian designer artworks.
