Last Saturday, independent fashion label Nikicio held a fashion presentation for her latest collection called “Kenduri”. This fall and winter 2014-2015 collection is privately presented in Common House, South Jakarta with nine models standing in a monochromatic outfit, which has become Nina Nikicio’s trademark in recent years.
This fall collection has been stripped bare of any unnecessary details. Reviews those that are experimental and is reduced to the prime pillars of fabric, tailoring, and the invisible structuring, later pieced together and dignified.Abraham Dewanggana
The collection itself “Kenduri” (loosely translated as a traditional get-together) offers a minimalist design, simple but still modern and classy look. It also consists of a long sleeve t-shirt, cotton knitted sweater, cotton shirt dress, long sleeve wool sweater, skorts, wool jackets, structured cotton shirt, neoprene tops with back details, and a parka jacket made from waterproof.
In addition, Nikicio also creates quilted jacket and shirt with rough details that successfully attracted attention in this collection. Nikicio “Kenduri” fall and winter 2014-2015 collection will be available later online and offline in September 2014.
