Head Director and the CEO from Rakuten Belanja Online Indonesia, Yasunobu Hashimoto recently talked to Rafki Hidayat from Bloomberg TV Indonesia about Indonesia as a potential business market. The former Global Business Division employee explained that Rakuten is eyeing Indonesia because of the growth of e-commerce that is growing rapidly in here. Plus the fact that they have gained big revenue for about three billion dollars since their inception in 2011. Along with this latest interview, he also mentioned several things, from their business model, how his company helps local businesses to promote them nationwide, his motivation, and to the latest invention, MicroB, that is intended to help micro businesses in Indonesia to easily join the Rakuten Belanja Online.
